Just beautiful, Theresa! And so interesting. Unsurprisingly, the colours and architecture remind me of Spain. And now I’m going to get myself a coffee…
Is it hot or warm there right now? Do you speak Spanish?

Juliet, this is a lovely city in a dry landscape. I know a fair bit about plants but it’s all kind of mysterious to me (apart from pines, bougainvillea, various cactii). High 20s, low 30s during the day; cooler at night. Every day something new and beautiful and thanks to my Toni Pons espadrilles, bought in Granada last year, I can walk for ages in the cobbles. No, I don’t speak Spanish but if I wanted to spend any time here, I’d do everything I could to learn. In the pueblos, there are many indigenous languages — our weaver host the other day spoke Zapotec (also English). Everyone is friendly and gentle.
